Developers From Valve Came up With an Amazing Idea for the Portal 3

The Portal series of games is a favorite among fans and they are looking forward to the release of the next part of the famous franchise. Recently, the writers of the game surprised the community with news that they have interesting ideas for the next part.

The names of these writers are Jay Pinkerton and Erik Wolpaw, both of whom worked on a number of Valve projects, including the first and second parts of the Portal. And a few days ago, a video about Portal 3 appeared on a channel called "Did You Know Gaming", where Pinkerton announced that they have an idea for the new part of the game.

It is important to understand that this is not a completed scenario, but only a sketch that will determine the main direction of the game. Developing the story, as well as all the puzzles, is a much more complex and painstaking task, however, Pinkerton and Wolpaw are extremely excited and looking forward to bringing it to Portal 3.

This event has already gone much further than the story, as the writers discussed their idea with some Valve employees, and there are already those who responded with interest. The main problem is that there are a lot of projects that the company is working on, so it is too early to expect them to work on Portal 3 before some of these projects are finished.

In the meantime, it seems like a good idea to release spinoffs like Bridge Constructor Portal. Since such projects draw the people’s interest to the franchise and provide new content to the fan base. And given the fact that Portal 2 was released almost 12 years ago, any work on the Portal universe is very much appreciated by the fans.
