EA to Release Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-Earth on May 10th Image

EA has announced that it will be releasing its first Lord of the Rings game since 2009 – the Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth – on May 10th. The game is part of five LOTR games currently in the works from Embracer, who recently purchased the rights to the series. A trailer has been released to give players a glimpse of the game and its new ‘stylized realism art style.’

The trailer gives us a look at the game’s Story, PVP, and other gameplay modes. According to EA, the game will feature ‘wanderers, warriors, wizards, and other classic LOTR characters’ and will create a more diverse and inclusive Middle-earth.’ The game is set to be released on both Android and iOS devices and is free to play. 

The game is part of five LOTR games in the works from Embracer, with the much anticipated Lord of the Rings: Gollum set to arrive shortly after the release of Heroes of Middle-earth. Embracer has promised that these games will stay true to the lore of the series while still creating a diverse and inclusive environment.

Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth will be released on May 10th and will be available on both Android and iOS devices. With the release of this game, fans of the LOTR franchise will get a chance to explore Middle-earth in a whole new way.
