Everything About Grand WhatsApp Chat Updates
06 Sep 2021
WhatsApp is preparing a new feature for the launch, and the latest screenshot has given us a peek at how it will work. Due to this update, users will be able to show their attitude to each message using emoji reactions. You can use any emoji to express your feelings easily. Another feature prepared to make our hero messenger even handier is the expansion of archive space, which will allow people to use an app on multiple devices without fear of reaching their limit. Let's take a closer look at these practical and highly functional features.
What’s with That Smile?
Let’s start with a new emoji feature that was presented in the screenshot by the WhatsApp features tracker WABetaInfo. Showing every member of a conversation your reaction, emojis will appear below the chat bubble. Spoiler alert: every emotion symbol you have can be used to react to a specific message. Even though the screenshot reveals us only an Apple operating system, the tracker shows that the Android version is already in development. Unfortunately, this feature won’t be up until it is ready, so even users of the latest beta version can’t use it yet.
Now, let's move on to redesigned chat bubbles for iOS. Bubbles are going to be more rounded and in fresh green color. They are already available for Android beta users with WhatsApp beta. This feature is in development now. It will be accessible for iOS clients as soon as they go through Apple operating system beta testers.
More Space for Your Devices
WABetaInfo described a new feature that will enable users to receive new messages without automatical unarchiving of a chat on multiple devices. This update was only available for Desktop and WhatsApp Web users at first, but recently the instant messenger made it possible for desktop versions. The new archive feature will come only on the 2.2135.1 version of WhatsApp Desktop beta, but after testing, it will be available for purchase.
