Fortnite Welcomes Players to Kaws Exhibition

Fortnite collaborates with Kaws to bring pop art to the next level. Kaws, also known as Brian Donnelly, is the superstar whose exhibition “New Fiction” is a must-see, in both, virtual room and real gallery. Yet, if you are not ready to leave everything and go to London, you can enjoy the art in Fortnite.

You may have known his art Companion for years. Represented in numerous variations, Mickey Mouse-styled piece of art is something that is hard to forget. Now, you can enjoy it by simply going to the Serpentine Gallery of Fortnite. Don’t rush, you can take as much time as you need there.

This is a virtual copy of the real-life exhibition from London’s gallery Serpentine. While this is not the first virtual event in Fortnite brought from reality, and it may lack the interactivity of the virtual installation called Your Progress Will Be Saved, organized in 2020, the new exhibition is unique. There is no Radiohead collabo, and it may not be packed with entertainment, yet, it is a straightforward copy of London’s event. You can wander around the gallery as long as you need, having a rest in the giant garden outdoors with statues made by Kaws.

The new exhibition is not hidden in the Creative mode’s specific section. It is located in the major hub where everyone can see it. Once you enter the Creative mode, you will fall into the outside garden, near the gallery. After you enjoy the art, you can easily go play with others, pick new quests, or change the mode. It looks like Epic Games is trying hard to bring more culture inside the game, attracting a wider audience. Let’s hope there will be more art projects in the future.
