For all the gamers out there, the highly anticipated God of War Ragnarök is now available as a three-hour free trial for those with a PS Plus Deluxe/Premium subscription. Developed by Santa Monica Studio, this free trial has been released in North America and has now made its way worldwide, allowing both PS4 and PS5 users to experience it. It’s clear why this game won six awards at The Game Awards 2022; within three months since its launch, it sold over 11 million copies! So what does this epic adventure have in store? Let's find out!

For starters, don’t expect too many drastic changes from the previous 2018 installment – although there are some minor differences. You will still play as Kratos and his son Atreus on their journey through Midgard. What makes this edition different is that you will battle monsters inspired by Norse mythology while trying to prevent Ragnarok – an event that would bring about the end of the world – from happening. This edition also brings improved combat mechanics with more weapons, such as Leviathan Axe or Blades of Chaos, at your disposal.

The graphics used in God of War Ragnarök are realistic yet beautifully rendered; one might almost think they're looking at real life when playing! Everything looks incredibly detailed and lushly colored, which creates an immersive environment you can get lost in while playing through different levels. Plus, just like any good RPG game should have, puzzles are scattered throughout most levels so players can test their wits against them before facing off against powerful enemies or bosses later on down the line.

And if that wasn't enough for you already, then worry not: Santa Monica Studio also included plenty of side quests for players to undertake during their playthroughs which includes collecting various artifacts or helping out NPC characters along your travels throughout Midgard – each quest offering unique rewards upon completion such as rare armor pieces or weapons upgrades depending on how difficult they may be to complete.

Finally, though this free trial period provides only 3 hours worth of gameplay – it should be enough time for fans (newcomers especially!) who haven't tried out God Of War Ragnarök yet but are interested in getting an idea about what type of experience awaits them once they decide purchase the full version later down the line – so make sure you give it your all during these precious few hours!
