Google Stadia Will Finally Have a Search Bar Image

When we use “Google” as a verb, we mean “search”. Strange was it not to see a conventional search bar somewhere where we usually see it on the web version of Google Stadia Store. The upcoming update will bring it where it usually belongs – to the top right corner. Though the announcement was first met with ironic comments, the update is really of much use.

The search bar is just as smart as one might expect from a product by Google. For example, it has suggestions, offering you games from the list (and the list is not that big so far). It’s not clear yet how it will treat grammar mistakes and typos, but probably they won’t be much of an issue. The update is rolling out gradually, so if you cannot see it yet, maybe you just have to wait a little.

Another new feature will use the improved AI to predict your preferences better. Based on the history of the games you have purchased and played, the store will offer you games you will probably like too. The changes will also include capture management through the web version – that is, you will be able to reorganize or delete your captures.

Last but not least: the official app is no longer necessary to play on Android devices. The web version is now being checked, so soon Android users will be able to access the service through their default Android browser.
