iOS 15 Focus Modes: How to Adjust Them?
17 Sep 2021
The new iOS is coming, and one of its features is the Focus mode. It is quite similar to the do-not-disturb mode that iPhone submitted earlier. However, the first one provides more possibilities like creating several home screens. Sometimes, you want to see only selective applications when you’re at work including your planner, notes, and email. You can generate a focus mode with this theme and switch to it when needed, or the feature will turn on this mode automatically when you’re in the office.
When iOS 14 became available for iPhone users, the function that enables you to customize your home screen appeared for the first time. Thanks to it, you may choose the default apps that you want to view on the main screen. iOS developers haven’t stopped developing this feature. You can hide several home screens with the selections of applications just in one click with the Focus mode.
You should install the Focus mode before managing the home screens. Open “Settings” and find “Focus” there. You will see a button that allows creating a new mode and adjusting it as required. Choose one Focus mode where you will design the custom pages. There will be the Home Page menu with the “Custom Pages” settings. Click on them and specify which homepages you will see when the Focus mode is turned on.
Besides the homepages management, the Focus mode also features some other opportunities. You may select from various ready-to-use presets like Work, Personal, Fitness, Gaming, etc. The Shortcuts function allows changing wallpapers automatically when you switch to another Focus mode. It doesn’t work perfectly in the beta version of the iOS 15, so it might be improved as the feature is quite unusual. Overall, the Focus mode offers a lot of diverse functions and presets that are easy to turn on if you follow the guide.
