It Takes Two Reaches New Heights

It Takes Two made its debut in March of 2021 and since then the game hasn’t stopped growing in popularity and gaining new awards and its deserved recognition. It has surprised us with the incredible Steam statistics at the end of 2021, and now it has taken a new spot: the game now has over 5 million sales.

The last update on its success the Hazelight studio released in October 2021, when It Takes Two surpassed 3 million copies. As we can see, since then the game didn’t lose any attention. This project has taken the hearts of many players with its deep story and engaging gameplay. The designers of the release made it sweet and cozy to look at, so you enjoy your whole in-game experience.

The Hazelight team said on the official Twitter of the studio that they are amazed to see how many possible players have played the game and loved it. The developers have been in close contact with their fans, thus building a strong sense of community around It Takes Two.

Following the big success of the game, not so long ago we have seen an announcement that there are already works in progress for the movie adaptation of It Takes Two. Joseph Fares is expected to take part in the development. This adaptation has made quite some noise, as multiple Hollywood studios participated in the arguments on who will take the chance in producing the movie.

It is very endearing to see It Takes Two gaining so much attention. Hopefully, the game can keep its popularity, and there won’t be any problems with further media spread. Unfortunately, we’ve seen cases when overwhelming attention can take a rather unexpected turn.
