Kahoot Brings Free Games to Elementary Schools
31 Jan 2022
Kahoot offers a 60-days free plan for elementary schools around the world within the EDU support program. The popular platform with multiple educational games will be available to every registered member of elementary school. EDU Support Program was created to back up educators in their noble mission of keeping students entertained and engaged in the learning process.
The program was created for schools and children who due to pandemics faced numerous disruptions in learning. Kahoot offers entertaining content that will help to catch up with school programs and lure students into the process. The content was made by leading educators and partners around the world. The goal behind the platform was to ease the life of teachers and save their time on explaining materials. Now, Kahoot offers to help teachers with building lessons for both virtual and real classrooms.
The CEO of the company, Eilert Hanoa, says that the pandemic caused a new level of uncertainty and anxiety among teachers. They have to come back to classes and help students to catch up with the material that was missed. The quality of education could be damaged by COVID too. Kahoot made a decision to share the free package to raise the learning to a higher level, making the whole teaching process accessible for every teacher around the world.
Schools can register themselves in the program, receiving free licenses for 60 days. It can be done by school administrators who will be responsible for leading the account and adding teachers. Each school will receive a personal EDU account from Kahoot. The program will provide private space for teachers and class, connect teachers with experts from Kahoot, create shared lessons, and provide helpful resources to improve the learning process.
