Better fix old bugs than add new content. So it happens with the recent Cyberpunk 2077 update. It addresses a lot of known bugs and fixes them across various platforms, including PC, consoles, and Google Stadia. The patch is nearly 16 GB for consoles, though it may vary, depending on the platform. As for the PC version, it’s just about 500 MB.

Players exploring the open world of Night city were still running into troubles, but not the sort of trouble designed within the story. The player might encounter a stuck NPC (like Takemura in Down on the Street), get his appearance glitchy after buying a Nomad car, get stuck with a non-functional elevator, lose control of the weapons, and so on. Visually, the patch fixes clippings in the clothes of various NPC’s.

Though this update brings no new content of its own, it may contain another part of the big DLC that is evidently being prepared. In addition, many players will be able to finally progress in some side quests they couldn’t finish otherwise, including, along with Down on the Street, Until Death Do Us Part, New Dawn Fades, Epistrophy, and Riders on the Storm. There are also minor performance improvements that help form better experience, regardless of the platform.
