Electronic Arts and Maxis announced an upcoming free update and a large paid DLC. The update brought new missions called “Scenarios” to the game, while the DLC would introduce a huge pack of plants to touch the souls of plant-loving Millenials.

Blooming Rooms Kit DLC

Did you want more plants in your Sims’ house? You get them! The new paid DLC brings dozens of new plant species, including multiple vines, fern, money plant, ficus, mandarins, lemon tree, and many more. The demo screenshots don’t reveal the full list, so you should try the DLC. It will be available from November 9 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, macOS, PS4, and PS5. It will cost you $4.99 on all platforms.

Scenarios

The Sims 4 Scenarios are already available to all the players for free and offer you to complete several exciting goal-based missions. Unlike the standard goals in the base game, the stories in Scenarios can flow and end differently, depending on your decisions in the game. This update adds even more replayability to the game by letting work through the same scenarios several times at least to see what happens.

Maxis promised to release more new Scenarios and bring a variety of new themes and possible outcomes to the game. The current update introduced the “Making Money” and “Finding Love After a Breakup” scenarios. To complete the first, you have to find a way to make a million Simoleons, while in the second you need to become a professional matchmaker for your characters.

More to Come

The leaks also suggest that we will receive more updates this November, including better disability representation, an industrial loft kit window, and a Create-a-Sim kit that will allow you to set style boundaries. Are you happy about the updates? What would you like to see next? Answer in the comments and don’t forget to share this announcement with other fans of the game.
