When it comes to open-world games, it's hard to say how long it can take you to complete a game with all its variety of quests. But this is what makes it so fascinating and makes you come back again. The developers give us a chance to experience Geralt's adventures in a new way with a free DLC called New Game Plus.

How Does Mode Work?

With this mod, you can resume the passage without level and difficulty restrictions, provided that you have completed the main game. If you have passed the game and have chosen the New Game Plus option, you should pay attention to a few things. Your level, abilities, gold, and other non-quest items from the first pass will remain in your inventory. With quest-related objects, crafts, alchemy formulas, and some other acquired values, you will have to part for the sake of gameplay.

Moreover, after resetting the storyline, locations and other points of interest will completely disappear from the map that the player studied during the first playthrough. Players will have to re-fill their bestiary with creatures and collect character records. Another feature is an increase of at least 25 levels of oncoming monsters and quests. This scaling occurs regardless of what level you were at when you had finished the game.

Prepare for a New Journey

If you managed to complete the Blood and Wine DLC before trying out the New Game Plus mode, then you got really lucky! In this DLC, you can find the silver sword Aerondight, which has one-of-a-kind unique ability. It scales the damage, which will allow you to avoid constantly searching for new weapons in New Game Plus.

So far, many people like the idea of restarting the game with a stuck-up inventory. Explore your inventory carefully before starting a new game, and don't forget to tell us about your experience below and share the article with friends!
