Twitter Will Now Offer Better Visuals and More Customization for Tweeted Links Image

Twitter doesn’t have any plans to stop with its updates. With the Professional accounts getting more and more attention, Twitter has also begun testing an updated format for publisher links. Referred to as ‘Twitter Tiles,’ the new format will give more opportunities to stand out on the platform.

Twitter Tiles offer an opportunity to work with different visual formats when you tweet links. This new feature allows you to choose fonts and also offers larger images, so they are more obvious to users on Twitter. Also, you can make CTA messages more prominent, which means that more users will be likely to click on them.

According to Twitter representatives, such formats are ‘designed to easily engage with content and make your timeline more dynamic and visual.’ The feature will currently be available for the users of iOS devices and on the web. It’s easy to get lost in all the content on the Twitter feed, so the improved link previews will allow companies and publishers to catch the attention of users a lot easier.

It’s not just this format that Twitter has been working on these days. The company also developed other tweet formats, such as quoting a tweet with a reaction. Users will have access to the enhanced text editor for their tweets, and there will also be support for different formats of content in just one tweet.

Twitter mentioned that Tweet Tiles are still being developed and experimented with. At the moment, not all users will be able to view the new format of tweets, as it is still in its testing phase. The feature could definitely be useful for publishers, and we should still wait and see whether it will bring more engagement.
