We Have Tested Fortnite on iOS Using GeForce Now Image

Apple users were unable to play Fortnite after its ban in the App Store, which happened as a result of a legal battle between Apple and Epic Games. But it seems that iOS users may have a chance to play this great game thanks to the GeForce Now gaming service.

GeForce NOW is essentially a substitute for your computer that you access via a powerful internet connection. The games that you want to play are installed on GeForce NOW PCs and users are allowed to play these games using their browsers after paying a monthly subscription.

Thanks to this service, we were able to launch Fortnite beta from our Apple device. It seems that this is pretty much the only way for a person who owns an iOS device to play this game. Fortnite runs well on GeForce NOW and allows for enjoyable gameplay. Despite the fact that Fortnite for mobile devices is still going through beta testing, the game runs surprisingly well.

There are, of course, some things that demand everyone’s attention, but after these few kinks are worked out, the app will be ready for launch. To get even more pleasure from this game, you are advised to get a controller that uses Bluetooth.

If you wish to play Fortnite by using GeForce NOW, you will need to sign up to become a beta tester. Unfortunately, it is a closed beta so they don’t let just anyone join their team of testers. After becoming a beta tester, you will also need to register a GeForce NOW account. The subscription fee for GeForce Now is $50 for 6 months.

Before you can start playing you will also need to link your Epic Games account to your GeForce Now so that it can verify if you have the rights to play this game. Once you finish with all of these steps, Fortnite will become available in a special closed beta section of the GeForce NOW website.

If you still have any questions, you can go on YouTube and watch a video on how to set up everything correctly.

Have you tried playing Fortnite or any other game using GeForce NOW on mobile devices? How useful is this service? Is the price worth it? Tell us all about it in the comment section.
