The 2023 Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, is just around the corner. As it is the first edition of the event since 2019, many are curious to know what can be expected in terms of game shows and featured companies. In this article, we will delve into the companies that confirmed their presence at the show and some of the expected highlights of the event.

Although Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are not planning to attend E3 2023, there will still be some impressive and exciting companies present. Ubisoft has confirmed their presence and has announced that they will introduce a new single-player game from a "neglected" series, with Heroes of Might and Magic being the most likely candidate.

Japan will also have a big presence at the show. Companies such as Square Enix, Bandai Namco, and Capcom are all expected to attend, though the list of announced titles is still unknown. Meanwhile, there is speculation that the recently announced The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may get an official showcase event.

Electronic Arts (EA) traditionally puts on its own show, EA Play Live, at E3, though this still needs to be clarified. In 2019, the show took place during the event but was not officially part of it. Last year, the show was canceled, but it may still go ahead this year in some form or another.

Overall, E3 2023 is shaping up to be an exciting event. Though the presence of some of the biggest companies in the industry may be missed, there is still a great deal to look forward to. With the event being tailored to the expectations of players, there's no doubt that some exciting reveals and announcements will take place at the event.
