WhatsApp offers their Android beta testers the ability to resume during the voice message recording. One of the biggest messaging apps is trying hard to add more features to its users. The beta version 2.22.8.4 that runs on Android contains extended features for voice messaging. Users will be able to resume and pause during the record. The company also tests the Stickers Tab on the app.

WhatsApp users on Android smartphones will be able to record their messages with more features. You can stop the recording at any time and continue from the place you stopped. This service was already checked by beta users. The company released it this March. After the beta testing, WhatsApp did not rush to release the feature. Instead, the feature was revealed on the iOS platform. Nowadays, the company announced these features back with the Universal Windows Platform beta testing.

WhatsApp tracker WABetaInfo was the first one who found that WhatsApp restored the ability to put message recording on pause and resume it. The beta version on Android is 2.22.8.4, and it is filled with new options. It was already released for the trusted beta testers. Once the testing process is over, users expect to see the feature on all Android phones. It is also expected to be available to audiences around the world.

The feature works similarly to the previous version. You have to start recording voice messages. You can see the button that allows you to stop and restart the procedure. The new service is going to replace the old button Stop. Instead, you will receive more icons there, including Pause, Resume, and Stop. WhatsApp has already shared information on the resume option for iOS this January. Now it is time for the same feature on Android.
