You Can Grab Cyberpunk 2077 For $10
10 Oct 2021
You can buy Cyberpunk 2077 for the consoles rather cheaply: just $10. It’s available only at Target for that price as part of the Black Friday mega sale.
The retailer company announced that Cyberpunk 2077 — one of the most anticipated games of 2020 — will see a royally generous discount: from $60 to just $10. The deal is effective for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 only.
Naturally, the offer stirred a commotion. While some gamers have been ecstatic about getting a Triple-A title for a ridiculous price, others seemed to take a bitter pill, complaining that they paid a full price for the game upon release.
Interestingly, even the official stores of both consoles can’t beat Target’s offer. While PS Store is ready to sell you the game for $33, Microsoft Store still charges the original $59.99.
The radical discount has been promised almost a month after a new Cyberpunk patch 1.3 was announced — it was released on September 14th. The patch strived to fix many bugs, which Cyberpunk is notoriously famous for.
Among all else, reload speed won’t be glitching anymore, certain animation problems were removed, and some quests have been liberated from their bugs: Disasterpiece, With a Little Help From My Friends, and others.
However, the same instance of sudden generosity happened not too long ago. On August 17th the game was offered with a 75% cut at Best Buy. For the same price of $10, you could get yourself a disc with the game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Black Friday will launch on November 26th. If you’ve been dreaming about Cyberpunk 2077, prepare a tenner and patiently wait. Sadly, pre-ordering the discounted game isn’t an option.
