YouTube TV’s Latest Update Makes It Possible to Switch Accounts

The latest update makes your YouTube TV experience even more comfortable because if you have several viewers on the same device, the ability to switch between different accounts in one click will be a very convenient option. And although this option is not innovative in the modern world, it, however, appeared in accordance with the needs of users.

Users of the YouTube TV app will see a new account picker screen after launching YouTube TV. It is similar to other profile pickers in different applications for modern streaming services. The application will ask you the question "Who is watching?" and will provide a list of accounts that have ever been active on this device. In addition, there will be an option to create a new one. Thus, it has become much more convenient to watch your favorite shows from your account instead of sharing one account with all household members.

If you live alone or you are the only user of YouTube TV, then the new option may turn out to be an unnecessary extra step. So, you can disable it in the "Settings" menu that is located right below the account picker.

Also, it is possible that this new feature will not appear immediately on your device and you will have to wait a few weeks before you get access to switch accounts in your application.
